The best anxiety treatments are those that are safe, work quickly, and can be done anywhere and at any time. For me, one of the fastest ways to stop anxiety is to go directly to the source: The autonomic nervous system.
Instead of taking medications to treat panic attacks, reduce generalized anxiety, or even help with fear of public speaking or other phobias, targeting your nervous system can often work better and faster. Without the side effects.
Think of your autonomic nervous system as the dial that can turn your nervous system reactivity up into fight, flight, freeze mode, or down into a state of relaxed rest and digestion.
