Hello everyone! I am so excited to begin this mini- GUT HEALTH series with my friend Anette De La Rosa –
(Learn more about Anette’s work and her vision for HAPPY HEALTHY STRONG here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU90Nnf5CV7MQkQuUIIgytw– and follow her on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anettedelarosa/ )

Dr. Nicole Cain, ND MA is collaborating with Anette De La Rosa on many fundamentals of overall wellness, including how gut health can not only affect mood, but fitness goals and muscle tissue. Scientific studies are pointing to the importance of gut health, and that digestive issues can cause imbalances that don’t only affect the GI tract.

In this first episode, Dr. Cain dives into the 5 MAIN SIGNS THAT YOU HAVE AN UNHEALTHY GUT !!

1) Your Bowel Movements are Not Regular

You should be having a bowel movement every day, well formed, easy to evacuate and you should feel complete when done.

2) Gastric Upset

This includes, gas, bloating, or feeling too full when you are eating.

3) Depression, Anxiety and Other Mental Health Issues

When the body is out of balance, it can cause mental health issues. Fun fact: 95% of serotonin is made in the gut…

4) Erectile dysfunction and Sexual Performance

Cholesterol is a precursor to our sex hormones. And guts being out of balance will change how we eliminate excess hormones.

5) Low Energy

Energy comes from the food we eat. If you are fatigued, check what you are eating and your gut health.

The Good News: There is hope and there are many ways to heal the gut that Dr. Cain and Anette De La Rosa will talk about in the next video 🙂
