I am delighted to announce the launch of my second interview with the beautiful Anette De La Rosa! In this video Anette and I discuss my top 3 tips to improve gut health. This is a continuation of last week’s video: “5 Ways to Know if You Have an Unhealthy Gut!”
Gut health plays a crucial role in mental health, it is one of the first things I test for in my clients. Did you know that 95% of your serotonin is made in your gut? If that doesn’t tell you how important gut health is for mental health I don’t know what will! So, how can someone get their gut in check? Here are my top 3 tips for promoting a healthy gut:
1) Removing the obstacles to cure
Removing the causes of the symptoms are the first step. Ask yourself, what is your body intolerant to? Find out what food allergies you have. Blood tests are available for this or you can try an elimination diet by cutting out most foods and start fresh by eating clean. Overtime, introduce more foods and see what your body reacts to.
2) Cut out processed foods
Eliminate things that are bad for your body, AKA PROCESSED FOODS. Ridding the body of processed foods while improve gut health without a doubt. Stick to the outer parts of the grocery store!
3) Probiotics
The main function of a probiotic is to change the pH to ensure bad bugs can’t live in your gut.
One of my favorite probiotics is by Designs for Health, you can order that here!
If you love what you’ve seen, check out my online mastery course “The Gut Psychology Program” 🙂 It goes into further detail on why the gut is important, what you need to be avoiding and what your body needs!
